Have I told you I bought myself a new old Nikon FD NFD 50mm f/1.4 MF lens from Japan? It’s practically like the same one connected to my dad’s old Nikon FE 35mm, which rendered a delicious bokeh while having an amazing sharpness that you can see here in my black and white collection. It quickly climbed up there as my new favourite go-to, replacing the Jupiter 135mm russian telelens I frequently use.
(I wanna insert some joke about how the asians do it better than the russians, but–)

They do have different personalities however: the Jupiter comes with dreamy shots and goes well with long/far shots; while this one brings creamy backgrounds and unrivaled sharpness. It helps that this one is fine-tuned and without fungus, so it’s delivering well in focus and sharpness.
Anyway, this guy’s finally got a haircut and a new jacket, as winter’s being a bit brutal to his half an inch fur. Thought to insert a few photos of him looking dapper. Blues and greens fit him well.
