Originally titled: Because I missed my Super Takumar, I crawled around at 12:30am and took random pictures outside. Then I brought my camera to work.
But it’s a long ass title, so I’m sticking to the other.
A lot of things are happening in my cluttered head again, so it’s only on the weekends that I get longer sleeping hours. It’s been common for me for the past month to function on only less than 5 hours of sleep but still heavily exercise a minimum of 4x a week, 5-6 times at the average. I’m proud to have minimum runs of 8kms daily now or swapping it for heavy hiit sessions, and while I haven’t been drinking much now (swapping a lot of soda waters I’m practically bloated) and have lost about 3kg in 2 weeks, these are all side effects.
I’ve been sedating myself by getting my system tired. One of these days I will crack, but until then, I will abuse this till I can. At least my method of abuse involves something relatively healthy so there’s that, but it’s giving me a high and I’m perpetually tired enough to think. Pros and cons, I guess. C’s starting to get annoyed, but I’m doing the best I can.
So yeah, I couldn’t sleep last night. I went out and brought out my trusty Takumar to play, decided I missed it enough to bring it with me to work the next day.
Here’s to you, who have inspired me to take photos in a faux-film format again. You’ll never see this and it’s okay. I just want to thank you.
